About Mother’s Love Homestead

Welcome to Mother’s Love Homestead.

What began as a love for simple living, handmade goods, and feeding the people around us has grown into a small family homestead in South Georgia. Here, our days are filled with sourdough starters, goat milk, garden harvests, tallow creams, chickens, and the kind of work that brings us back to what matters most.

At Mother’s Love Homestead, we create small-batch goods with intention—from wild-fermented sourdough made with our beloved starter, Myrtle, to goat milk soaps made with milk from our Oberhasli herd, to tallow skincare crafted with simple ingredients and a whole lot of care.

Our signature heart carries a story close to our family. The left side honors Sharon, and the right side honors Beth—two mothers whose love continues to shape this homestead and the work we do here. Every product we make is a small reminder that love can be carried forward, shared, and felt in the everyday things.

We believe in slow living, honest ingredients, faith, family, and caring well for the land and animals entrusted to us. We are learning as we grow, building toward a regenerative farmstead where goats, chickens, gardens, flowers, and handmade goods all work together in a meaningful rhythm.

Thank you for supporting our family, our farmstead, and this little dream in South Georgia. Whether you are here for a loaf of sourdough, a bar of goat milk soap, a jar of tallow cream, or simply a little encouragement from the homestead, we are so grateful you are here.

With love,
Mary & Dan
